As the Founder and Owner of CW Business Advisory, I bring a wealth of expertise in financial strategy and management cultivated through a dynamic journey encompassing both the corporate and startup landscapes. A key aspect of my skill set lies in consistently thinking outside the box, a core strength that adds innovation and creativity to my approach.
Calvin is a seasoned finance professional with over a decade of experience working with fast-growing startups scaling their finance organization to facilitate growth from pre-revenue to exit. Prior to founding CW Business Advisory, Calvin worked as an external auditor at KPMG, one of the prominent members of the world’s Big Four accounting firms. After a rewarding career at KPMG, it was time to take the next step and dive into the fast growing technology sector. Calvin spent the next 10 years honing his skills in building finance functions from scratch from pre-revenue technology startups to mature, household-name brand technology companies such as Hulu, Beats Music, etc.
Ziye Lin

Ziye is a strategy and finance executive with 15+years of experience in management consulting, M&A, merger integrations, and technology & product strategy. Ziye has worked for some of the biggest names in ecommerce, consulting, and digital media including Amazon, FTI Consulting, NBC-Universal, and Hulu. Ziye’s experience also includes creating and leading new business lines for venture-stage organizations, including helping a Los Angeles-based virtual reality startup raise its Series D round.
Armed with experience from both the biggest firms and early-stage organizations, Ziye brings the best management practices of leading firms combined with the practicality and hands-on attitude of start-ups. Stephen Choi
Fractional CFO
CPA investment professional with private equity/institutional background and over 15 years of experience
Stephen started his career at KPMG (one of the Big Four accounting firms) as a CPA, where he and Calvin Wu (Founder of CWBA) bonded over trying to decipher various accounting literatures, often late into the night.
With over 15 years of work experience, Stephen has worked in various investment roles in private equity to Fortune 500 institutional investment firms. His primary focus has been real estate, where he completed over $1 billion in transactions and deployed over $500 million in investor equity. At CWBA, Stephen’s role (on top of real state) is to provide fractional CFO services to clients, advising on strategic initiatives and operations, FP&A, M&A advisory, and bookkeeping.
Stephen has an undergraduate degree from University of Southern California and an MBA from Haas School of Business, University of California Berkeley.
