Biography
From Big 4 audit to the founder’s seat
Calvin began his career as an external auditor at KPMG, one of the Big 4 accounting firms, where he built the foundation of financial analysis, due diligence and structured thinking that underpins every engagement.
He then spent ten years inside the fast-growing technology sector, building finance functions from scratch at pre-revenue startups and at household-name brands including Hulu and Beats Music, in organizations that moved fast and made consequential decisions.
Driven by a passion for entrepreneurship, Calvin guided a consumer products company in the e-commerce space through a successful exit in 2018. That experience led him to advise companies at every stage, whether they need a turnaround or are aiming to scale and exit.
He founded CW Business Advisory to give companies with $1 million to $40 million in revenue the quality of work they would expect from a Big 4 firm, at a significantly lower cost.
